Lindsay Watson BFE is a Scottish documentary film editor known for her thoughtful storytelling and emotional depth.

Her work has been broadcast internationally and and screened at prestigious festivals, including ‘Tish’ , the opening film of Sheffield Doc Fest and ‘Since Yesterday: The Untold Story of Scotland’s Girl Bands’, the closing film of the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Lindsay graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in Visual Communication: Photography with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree. She later refined her craft in London, collaborating with leading creatives including photographer Emma Summerton, further developing her cinematic and aesthetic storytelling approach.

Lindsay works across a wide range of storytelling forms, integrating archival material, immersive sound design, and multiscreen formats in feature films, short films, exhibitions, fashion films, and television commercials.

Lindsay was nominated for two British Film Editors Cut Above Awards for her work on ‘Tish’ and edited The Royal Television Society Scotland’s Best Short Form winning film ‘On The Twelfth Day of Findom’.

A member of British Film Editors and BAFTA Connect, Lindsay thrives in collaboration, shaping narratives that resonate deeply with audiences.
